“ Issue of confidentiality at reception. When I arrived, the receptionist asked me if I was 'X' (full name of person). I said No. Then he asked me me if I was 'Y' (full name of another person). Again I said No. He continued to run his eyes over the screen. So I said, "Do you want to know my name?" He said he did so I told him.

After my procedure, I went to the reception desk and said that I wanted to pay. He asked me if I was Z (full name of a third patient). I said I wasn't, I told him my name and suggested that there should be no more guessing and no more revelations of other patients' identities.

Aside from the irritation of this approach. it really does violate people's right to privacy. In my opinion, this receptionist needs to be trained to ask patients their names¬ �
